Welcome to English 8

 

 

English 8 will continue building strong lifelong skills of writing and reading.  A daily journal will be part of our curriculum as well as weekly independent reads.  We will look at several short stories and a novel as a class. Our writing will be centered on the 6 traits of writing. Expanding our vocabulary with online skills check will be an added part of the 8th grade curriculum this year.

Bring a positive attitude and pencil or pen every day and the year will be a rewarding experience.
